Angelfire praises itself to be:
- Easy - I agree
- Fast - Not much, but still fast.
- Fun - not so much.
- The site displays annoying pop-ups, which interfere with your browsing.
To get rid of annoying pop-ups, please turn off JavaScript in your browser.
My web page does not use JavaScript at all.
- Support by Angelfire is incompetent, and cynical.
Their main aim is to do as little as possible, and make you pay as much as possible.
A complaint makes them wish you leave... literally.
Long ago it was different.

I do not use these. At a first glance - too rigid, and a bit complicated. |

- Trinamic asks for forgiveness - In 2007 there was a conflict with Trinamic.
I never knew why. It dragged for very long. Again I never knew why. And it was pointless. Absolutely crazy.
On March 20th, 2012 one of the members of the board of directors Michael Randt at last
promised to remedy the situation. I am still waiting for him to make a miracle happen.
The miracle is that everyone works constructively in one's own bubble of a "space ship",
as they called their new premises, and keeps one's persona, apart from demands of the business.
Manufacturing cannot stop.
I learned a few good things about Michael. So, I thought: why not give him a try?
I removed the description of the conflict. Will he now remove the cause? Go Michael! Go!
... Years pass. Miracle does not come. Yet we still do believe in it...

Those using Trinamic's TMCM612 find out that it lacks
any sensible function to control its ADC, DAC, and additional 128kB RAM. I devised
a FirmWare for this module, which adds this functionality to TMCL.
The function bears the same hallmarks of ease of use and common sense as are present
in my computer software for TMCL - the TMCM-DLL, which I mention above.
Suggestions are welcome. Some users may prefer a completely custom function rather
than a versatile extension of FirmWare. I can do this too.
None of my software or FirmWare is available for purchase through Trinamic.
(Although Trinamic does keep a copy of my software TMCM-DLL.) You have to order directly from me,
not from Trinamic. I may bundle the price with hardware (e.g. TMC modules),
which you may buy from me, and with my TMCM-DLL software.
- Profile on forum of Trinamic
- http://trinamic.com/ttdg/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=136
Through this profile you used to find many articles of mine, which helped you in understanding
the working of Trinamic Motion Control modules, and automation in general.
Out of "gratitude" Trinamic deleted my profile in order for you to learn as little as possible.
Many messages of mine do remain there. But my profile no longer links them. Trinamic hijacked my writings for their own benefit.
They try to conceal me from you. They want you to buy only
from those, who do not care about you, about the products, and who cheat.
After I wrote this, Trinamic removed the Forum from public view. They retain it privately.
I keep an archive of quite a few articles from the Forum. You may ask me to share the wisdom.
It takes long time to read.
My software TMCM-DLL acts as a concise book. You may read that instead, faster. - Not the Web page about it, rather the software itself.
- Profile on LabView, forum of National Instruments
- http://forums.ni.com/ni/profile?user.id=107365
Through this profile you find a couple of articles. In them I explain what is a driver.
How to attach a driver to a Trinamic Motion Control module.
I offer there my TMCM-DLL. It is also a kind of driver.
And of course I explain there why Trinamic does not resell my DLL to the public.

They are a seller by catalogue.
I created a group on Motion control.
Once they deleted it, and messages in it. Announcements from it survived, but became orphan.
They did not explain the reason. They only apologised, and offered me a t-shirt.
I rejected the shirt, because its manufacture, and transport damages environment.
They censored, edited 1 message of mine:
http://www.element-14.com/community/message/9880#9880
They deem offensive the word "moron", even if it is abstract, not about a particular person.
An administrator did politely inform me that he removed the word.
Yet, he confessed that he too deems Wikipedia corrupt.
They were not as ruthless as to ban me,
or to monitor the follow up. I restored the original message, with the word.
I do not know whether they noticed this.
I am a systems administrator with over 20 years of experience.
... 11 years of experience in directly servicing science.
I master many programming languages, and operating systems.
My latest occupation: Systems Integrator.
My emphasis is on automation of laboratory, electronics, precise mechanics, position sensors, some other types of mechanics.
I am a self made business man. I earned my start-up capital with my own hands, head, and hard work.
Nobody gave me anything. I gave a lot.
I never steal, nor grab public money free. I reject such, even when offered.
I did not inherit anything, except my brain. I was not born in a privileged country.
On the contrary - almost every former employer tried to "stifle" me.
There were many people and even big companies, who stole from me many times.
I mean the big way - not negligible things, or ideas.
I am independent, oftern a freelance.
But sometimes I do work for a salary. Though it was long ago.
In the past I have been working for a major manufacturer of scientific instruments.
I was behind that service, which you received. I did so simultaneously with running my business. They too cheated me.
They also cheated you, and their other partners.
Whenever I can, I protect from the cheats my customers, and sometimes strangers,
even if that means a loss for me.
I do not try to knowingly sell products of poor quality.
I manufacture some of the items I sell (like power supplies, software, some mechanical parts).
I contract, subcontract, or resell the rest (with an added value, of course).
Third party engineers with interesting products may contact me for inclusion
of their items on my list, or for integration, adaptation of my items to theirs
(e.g. my software, mentioned below).
My offer, linked above, already lists many such items from engineers, and companies.
I also have many other leads into various industries - scientific, and industrial... both suppliers and customers.
Please see "my offer" among the links above. There I list examples of things you may order from me.
These include electronics, software, mechanics, optics, measurement systems, hardware, fixtures, and integration of these.
For several years I was a distributor of motion controllers, made by Trinamic.
Previously you might see their support forum for my messages under a nick-name "Andrew".
My profile there is blocked (without any reason). So you cannot contact me there.
They stowed away the entire Forum. You no longer can even look me up.
I developed a motion control software. I named it "TMCM-DLL".
That's because it is simultaneously an "*.EXE", and a "*.DLL".
- The "*.EXE" part has a "Graphical User Interface" (GUI).
- The "*.DLL" part is meant for programmatic acces from LabView, MatLab, Visual Basic, C, and other languages.
Those languages may call various functions of the DLL, including access to the GUI part.
So, development of fast applications is made easy. In fact LabView (and some other languages) does not allow some kinds of advanced manipulation, which my software allows.
Currently the software is compatible only with hardware modules from Trinamic (TMCM).
I may adapt it to other motion controllers from my new partners. Some do not have their own. Some have software less versatile.
The software "TMCM-DLL" is not restricted to motion control. I can adapt it to any device, even not related to motion control at all.
Its emphasis is on providing a general purpose, easy to use, and programmable Graphical User Interface (GUI), and on providing a simple programmatic access to its complex power through a DLL.
It also has extra features, like troubleshooting of TMC modules (TMCM), or building trajectories (paths, like arcs, circles, lines). Others are planned.
In fact it is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
It is not large, though.
The software "TMCM-DLL" has a sample VI and LabView control panel for easy programmatic connection to it as a DLL.
Samples of source code for other languages are available as well.
The source code of "TMCM-DLL" software itself will not be available.
But I may reconsider my position, depending on your offer.
The price is:
EUR 72 as is, and with limited support.
EUR 144 with unlimited support, and custom programming.
EUR 0 - a bundle, if you buy hardware from me - usually about 10 controllers (TMCM, or any other). Smaller quantities may warrant at least a discount.
All prices include future updates.
Note that "unlimited support" does not mean "unlimited use". There is a small fee for additional copies.
You may negotiate it, and terms of payment, like deferral, or schedule.
The price is not rigid. I may agree to custom pricing depending on your quantity, plight, offer, demand,
or whatever special consideration you might provide. I may also bundle the software in certain circumstances.
I am a human being. Let's hope so are you. Let's bargain.
If you do not want to buy from me directly, then you may still bargain with your distributor.
Ask them to bundle my services with their's.
They have benefited from my work. They may agree to pay me.
If you buy directly from Trinamic, then please bargain with Trinamic.
Please see my software.
There I provide an extended presentation of this software, and some more hints on pricing.
I have an idea how to simply attach to TMCM
cheap memory, made by "consumer industry".
I can extend FirmWare for this.
I did not yet implement this.
You could plug memory to TMCM, and computer.
Edit it on computer. Plug to TMCM again.
TMCM could also serve as memory reader, writer for computer.
Quite a few engineers, and even big engineering companies cannot afford my services, products, and my software.
Here you can register for sponsorship.
- If you are a sponsor, please write to me. Make a note how much are you willing to donate approximately,
to what kind of a person, or company, what level of morality, geographical region, income, types of projects (science, industry, health, toys, ...), etc.
For example, one of my correspondents develops a systems for improvement of lifestyle for blind and deaf people.
A sponsor might consider such a project important, and worth the support.
This particular engineer does not require my service so far. He is just an example.
You still may want to sponsor him. Just write to me, and I introduce you to him for your further cooperation.
The number of people currently offering sponsorship: 0.
- If you are a consumer, please write to me. Tell me your plight. Indicate whether you wish
a non-refundable sponsorship, or a kind of a loan.
A loan can still be non-refundable in case of failure of
your project. Then you revoke all copies of software obtained from me, and you return all hardware.
If you achieve success, then you refund the loan to me, so that I can sponsor another person,
on behalf of the original sponsor.
A non-refundable sponsorship may fund even a successful enterprise. Eligibility does not
depend on its social significance. It depends on willingness of a sponsor to support you.
The number of people currently seeking sponsorship: 0.
I may be a sponsor too.
In the past I have sponsored plenty of thieves, plagiarists, and opportunists.
I do not want them to be the sole beneficiaries of my benevolence.
I may be willing to sponsor you as well. I would not give you money.
I might provide my services free. Just tell me why.
The way I conduct business is moral.
- I avoid harming the environment.
The price of many competitors includes their
indulgence in burning petrol by driving a car without any good reason or moderation.
They just waste your money.
I save all possible costs, and materials... even those personal ones.
Even when some of my service is expensive, your money does not sponsor any snobbery of mine, if any.
- I try to avoid dealing with petrol, and car industries...
Even if they offer attractive financial deals.
An exception might be a project to decrease their danger to society, to surrounding people, animals, and land.
Increase of safety for a driver is not my concern. Car drivers may go to hell. Even the most careful ones actually do not care about anything.
Dealing with car owners is inevitable. I do not avoid them. I avoid only the industries,
which promote cars and other types of destruction.
- I avoid cheats, plagiarists, pirates, thieves.
- Confidentiality.
- Mine.
I do not share any ideas, or technical information of my customers with any other customer,
or partner, even if both participate in the same project.
Everyone should live off one's own witt. Innovation is not free for all.
I share information only with your explicit consent.
If you withdraw your consent, I withdraw your information from others.
- Customers.
Likewise I request you - my customer - to spare my ideas. What I give or tell you is for you only.
You should not treat them like your own property, or a property of the whole humanity.
In the past I have had a few potential customers, who took my extensive pre-sales advice.
But they did not buy anything, even if I already procured some components for them...
And even if I already delivered some to the user's site...
Afterwards they went on a "spree" of disclosure, asking my competitors to implement my ideas.
Some even blame me for whatever perceived reason.
- Loyalty.
When we agree to implement your project, I expect you to be loyal to me.
I am loyal to you. No matter how long the project takes. No matter how many unexpected difficulties
arise. Remember that yours is a custom project. Not a serial production... Not yet at least...
So, it is difficult and lengthy by definition. That is why you hire me.
- I pay my suppliers properly, much, and fairly. I promote their fair working conditions,
good rest, peace of mind, happiness, and creativity. I never stress or exploit them.
I help them out, when they fail me. I adjust prices for their unforeseen expenses.
I preserve and protect their copyright.
I treat my customers in a similar way.
- You are free to speak out about me just about anything. I do not mind, as long as you mean the truth,
jokes (well, or ill-conceived), or whatever.
I mean genuine intent. Malicious damage,
and libel is out of the question, obviously. You need to reason. Empty accusations,
and fantasy is not my way. Neither it should be yours.
I would try to answer your concerns thoroughly. That's why they have to have a ground. There's nothing to answer in groundless rants.
This does not mean that rants are prohibited. You may say to me just about anything. I hope I may say to you just about anything too.
- Any other moral issue, not mentioned here, deserves my thorough consideration.
Feel free to contact me.
